After packing my stuff, we went back to the official residence where my father also resides. On the way back, an old memory floated up in my mind...

Night time, I couldn't sleep and thought over the conversation Katsuragi had with me. I was introduced to a vicious organisation named Red Snake and I was seemingly targeted by them. Ishigami from the Public Safety division joined us too. They explained that members of red Snake has a snake tattoo somewhere on their body and they more they said, the more I understood my situation and what they are capable of doing.
Somebody knocked on the door and two men entered the room. It was a cheerful Kurozawa (also from Public Safety) and the man that had caught me eavesdropping earlier. Somehow he looked familiar to me, but I couldn't place why...
I tossed and turned in bed thinking about our conversation. Maybe I should drink something, I thought and went to get some water from the mini fridge in my room. I took the bottle and went to the window. The garden was just below my room and I looked down on it.
Hey, it's that man... He must have known I was there because he turned and started right at me. A voice rang out around the garden, it could only be Kurozawa. "Goto!? Where are you!?" he yelled but the man kept quiet and then put a finger to his lips in a silent plea for me to be silent. Later, he walked away to find Kurozawa and I went away from the window. I still couldn't shake the thought that I'd met him before.
The next morning, I ran into Mizuki and Sora in the hallway and chatted with them for a while. With nothing to do, I headed out to the garden the man was in yesterday night and he arrived a little after me. We started small talk, introduced ourselves and gathering my courage, I asked if we met before. He reminded me that we met yesterday in the hall but I told him I didn't mean that. Looking at him close up, I still think he looks familiar. We talked some more and then it started to rain. Surprisingly he pat my head, "Make sure not to catch a cold," he said and it triggered a sense of familiarity in me once more.
My memories were brought back to that day long ago; it was also a rainy day like this. I was just returning from school and then I saw something in the middle of the road. A cat? It was bleeding and I noticed an oncoming car so I rushed out to save it. I thought I wouldn't be able to make it and just before the car was too close, a man came running towards me and then something knocked my body and I fell.
I opened my eyes and was shocked to see us by the side of the road before the man yelled at me for being so reckless. I meekly told him I saw a cat on the road and wanted to save it because it was injured but he scolded me more. Nevertheless, he took the cat and said to leave it in his care. He then put the cat in his bag for shelter and gave me his umbrella as mine was wrecked by the car. "Make sure not to catch a cold," he told me and he went his way. As I looked at his disappearing figure, I realized I didn't managed to ask for his name...

Goto's starting to come into the story now~ The next episode, I will be going back to university after a week of hiatus with Sora as that day's bodyguard.
